What is this game?

Official store description:

"Play as Toro, a new member of the night watch, patrolling an Indonesian village on edge after a young man's disappearance. Talk to villagers, check vehicles, uncover unsettling truths — and survive Toro's unraveling across five nights."

Overtime: Patrol (Steam, September 2, 2026, official Chinese) — Akhir Hayat Studio's five-night patrol horror in the Ronda Malam tradition. A village that reshuffles who's home each night, a radio that starts lying, and a notebook that's secretly the true ending's key. We opened the log on day zero.

This village has always been quiet and peaceful. Until today.

The Watch Board — what day zero is arguing about

FOUND

Launch-day 18:30: Channel Zero found — force the dial past the stop between 1 and 7; it catches on an unmarked position, the only way to answer the second voice. Reproduced within two hours.

ARGUMENT

"Graveyard figure: person or thing?" Realists: it appears only in the driver's unloading windows (a lookout). Supernaturalists: "lookouts don't obey a three-second rule." Same appearance log, both camps.

OVERTURNED

The old "Cahyadi died night one" is struck: night-three static carries responsive rhythm — call "clear," the static answers twice. Channel Zero endorses it: he's alive.

FOUND

First report of the true-ending gate: the imam speaks only to complete five-night notebooks, zero hints. The finder's words: "I only learned what I'd missed on my second run."

ARGUMENT

The roster close-up: Toro's name struck through in the same stroke as the ticket wall — loop hint, or one shared arranger? Day-zero's biggest case; both camps await second-run details.

Night Watch Log Index

Why does this game need a guide?

  1. 1

The notebook is the weapon and the game never says so: testimony auto-logs, but completeness is an unhinted ending gate.

  2. 2

The radio is a polygraph from night four — one late answer changes your ending, and the game frames it as lag.

  3. 3

Every night reshuffles who's home, so player confusion compounds — the fixed things (channels, tells, rules) are what a guide is for.

  4. 4

Bilingual coverage is a blank: the Indonesian horror wave is huge in CN streaming, and no Chinese-language notebook exists yet.
